New MinXray Portable & Mid-Base Units

     Global Intermed is pleased to announce that it is currently offering New MinXray Portable & Mid-Base X-ray Units  to the members of the Podiatry Profession in association with X-ray Repair & Sales of Ocala, Florida. MinXray is a well known name in Podiatry with a reputation for offering quality durable x-ray units at an affordable price.

     The PS200+ Stationary unit provides the Podiatrist with a compact and versatile x-ray machine that can be assembled with the tube head on the right or left side. The base design is open to accommodate patients weight bearing or in wheel chairs with three support rails to insure patient safety. The Doctor is free to use 8" x 10" and 10" x 12" Cassettes to take split films or ankle views by employing the adjustable centered slot. The Remote Exposure Switch comes with a 20 foot (9.1 meter) cable that is connected to the x-ray tube head.

     The PM200R40 Portable unit provides the Doctor with a versatile, mobile unit that can be rolled easily from room-to-room to take weight bearing and non-weight bearing x-rays. The tube head can be raised on the mast to a maximum 56" above the floor and is counter-weighted to enable the Technician or Assistant to raise and lower it easily. A single stage dead man's switch is used to fire the head and is attached to it with an 8 foot (2.44 meter) cord. The taking of AP & Lateral views with this unit can be facilitated with an optional MinXray Orthoposer. The base size is 20"L x 19"W x 76"H. The maximum depth front to back is 35"        

     The tube output for both units is 12 MA @ 63 kVp with the focal film distance fixed at 24" for the Mid-Base Unit. The timers are Digital Electronic with a range of 0.08 sec. - 2.0 sec. adjustable in 16 steps. The required input is 110-130 VAC, 60 Hz and 10 amps. The tube is a Toshiba D-102 with a focal spot size of 1.0 x 1.0 mm. Both units feature a continuous adjustable light-beam collimator that includes a central x-ray beam indicator and inclinometer.
