Global Intermed (GI) was founded
in April of 1995 to meet the logistical needs of developing health care
systems worldwide by designing, manufacturing, and/or managing fully
equipped outpatient surgicenters, hospital modules, polyclinics, office
operating rooms and other state-of-the-art health care facilities. GI
equips these facilities with pre-owned and/or new equipment and new
instruments subject to our clients' discretion. After that, GI offers
ongoing logistical support for those clients' who desire to outsource
their back-office functions that include, but are not limited to, all
HCFA, HIPAA, QA/UR & Personnel policies & procedures. Initially GI
focused on meeting the logistical needs of the podiatry profession in the
US, Canada and Mexico, but later expanded its expertise to serve the
allopathic and osteopathic branches of the medical & surgical
professions. GI is also available to act as a "US Agent" and/or "Official
Correspondent" to assist foreign manufacturers in registering their
companies with the US FDA, help them to obtain FDA approval to sell there
medical and/or surgical devices in the US, and distribute their products
in the North American market and abroad.
Health Care System
Development
GI is dedicated to
designing, fabricating and implementing Health Care Systems in the US and
abroad from the project conception phase through turn-key start-up and
ongoing management thereafter. GI's designs range from complete modular
facilities to retrofit floor plans for existing structures that include
architectural drafts for the structure itself as well as for the
associated HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other sub systems. With the
client's approval, GI will then subcontract the construction or employ
contractors of the clients' choice to build and/or modify the facility.
After that, GI will equip the facilities with new and/or quality pre-owned
medical and/or surgical equipment (subject to the clients' discretion) as
well as provide system specific fee & procedure profiles, policy &
procedure manuals and quality assurance and utilization review programs in
a textual and digital format. GI is then prepared to provide ongoing
managerial services or systems analysis from the time of start-up to
insure that the system continues to provide efficacious and efficient
care. Let GI help you design, fabricate and implement your entire health
care system from the ground up or simply provide logistical support for
any portion of your existing health care system that includes, but is not
limited to, equipment, instrument and other system upgrades.
